Apple has constructed new prototypes for Iphone which include hardware backing for detecting RFID chips , this was reported by a site absorbed on the nearby field communication. Apple has before also applied for patent linked to a mobile called “ID App” this is skillful of using an RFID sensor, it is a way to use RFID to connect and sense to existing Wi-Fi networks, and also a touchscreen RFID tab reader.
The new invented future iPhones of RFID support permits a range of “touchless” technologies, which ranges from swipe payments where the users can pay for their items by vending machines, toll booth or checkout by swiping their keeping their phones near the payment pads , this swipe tracking of data kiosks, even animals and objects. With the help of these devices very little data is used to like only users account number, it does useful things.
The cost of the RFID chips has reduced by few cents , so that most of the firms can use it ,most of them already make use of it like retailers use it for tracking packages like barcodes . It could even attach barcodes onto album covers which let the cell phone download specific songs that come with the album instead of downloading the songs using a computer. It will not take much to make a phone RFID readable. It can be built inside the screen by the new patent that apple has already applied for. The technology involves a closed circuit panel within the touchscreen. As for the RFID antenna, it can be placed along the corners of the touch panel. This will give it the property of acting like a transponder. It might come in Apples next generation of phones or might never make it to the market, depends on Steve Jobs Mood and the market.
