Thus it is making the cost effective with its limitations. FIATECH has just recently started doing research for passive RFID of feasibility that is in construction industries. According to FIATECH the passive technology of RFID has limited storage capacity and limited ranges of communication, but the less unit cost and the technical progresses could be a very decent option for the industries.
