Hard Tagging RFID

To decrease shrinkage rate and track inventory the retailers are adapting RFID and EAS system of technology, till now 3 store operators (clothing) are using a technology which chains both traditional electronic article scrutiny technology with EPC gen 2 RFID from last 2 months these retailers have adapted this , it will be a great advantage for the apparel retailers from this technology.
This has been started by a Toronto centered firm which is based on EAS technology for the benefit of retailers or advantage. They have started this firm so that by this the retailers can track and decrease shrinkage and with the help of EAS tags are detached from the goods which will be sold in stores. These EAS hard tabs are wrapped in hard plastic, frequently apparel onto lock items by means of steel pin.
By the use of this RFID and EAS technology the worker can easily come to know if the customer is lifting a product without his concern, the device which will be detached to the product, if that product is going out of the store the worker or the owner who is present there will come to know in real time, with the help of RFID the owner can measure the number of products sold and he can compare it with the total amount and if that amount is uneven than the owner can trace the error. He can come to know where the product is if he has attached the EFID system. However from last year in February 2009 the companies are selling non RFID versions, they employ acousto magnetic which are 3 hard tag these tags have remain anonymous. Hopefully companies will apply these technologies soon into their inventories to make tracking easier for them and for the managers who have to handle the entire range of inventory.
